ACT Taekwondo Established since 1999.

ACT Taekwondo supports Taekwondo across the state and promotes modern sport and the traditional values of martial arts. Our goal is to support athletes at all levels, from grass roots to future Champions and Olympians.

ACT Taekwondo has long been home to many of Australia’s top athletes. We have had ACT Taekwondo athletes on Olympic Shadow Squads, and attend top-level international competitions such as World Taekwondo Champions, World Poomsae Championships, World Universiade Games, Asian Games, Spanish Open, Belgium Open, British Open, French Open, USA Open, Korean Open and many more.

We are here to help the Taekwondo community in the ACT reach its full potential. We offer accreditation, certification, qualification and training and development for the ACT Taekwondo community.

The ACT has also successfully hosted the 2010 and 2011 National Taekwondo Championships, with nearly 2000 competitors and over 3,500 spectators at both events. The ACT had over 200 competitors and volunteers that help made the events the successes they were.
