Referee Seminar
This is a great opportunity to be current with international WTF Sparring rules and is recommended for anyone doing Elite who would like to gain more knowledge on their sport.
This seminar is for:
- anyone sparring at Nationals
- coaches and Instructors (strongly recommended)
- anyone interested in corner judging or refereeing
Seminar Details
Date: Saturday 21st September
Venue: Forrest Primary School
Time: 8.30 am – 4.00 pm
Cost: Please bring cash on the day
$85 for those applying to qualify as an accredited referee/corner judge,*
$40 for those attending for awareness/information purposes – Can only attend the morning session
* Only red belt and above aged 15 years and over are eligible for referee qualificationYou will gain:
- A good understanding of Taekwondo sparring competition rules
- Knowledge of referee commands and signals
- Practical demonstration of scoring
- Referee Manual (for applying referees & corner judges)
