Las Vegas February 9th – 15th
Congratulations to our Australian team who competed at the US Open Taekwondo Championships. TA provided funding for the Team as part of our National Development Squad (NDS) initiative.
Master Danny Crkvencic, our ACT coach went along with the team as TA Head of Team.
The Australian athletes competed in both the Poomsae, Junior and Senior sparring events and faired significantly better than last year with a number of athletes making it to the quarter finals, only to be pitted at the post for a medal.
Our medal results were as follows:
- Gold Medal – Linda Lawrence Gold in the Sparring Masters Division
- Bronze Medal – Dale Bryce in the Singles Poomsae Division
